Multi-scale lens design is one of the promising technologies for building a enormously high resolution camera. This technology shows us the feasibility to integrate lots of micro cameras in a common large-aperture objective lens. I worked to figure out the limitation of this technology in Duke University and my main work in the MOSAIC project was to design practical micro camera lenses for a conventional large format camera.
