I worked in LG cable Ltd. about six years. During that time, I developed a polymeric PTC thermistor that is applied to Li-ion battery in mobile phones and Laptops or PNP port in computers. My major role is to devise the methods for manufacturing and testing. I established the methods in soldering process, encapsulating process, electrical testing process, and stabilizing process. I have issued 45 Korean patents and 5 US patents related with this product. In 2004, as a project leader, I improved a modeled case circuit breaker using a Polymeric PTC device.
